Hi Billyboxer6 thanks for the reply yes that will helpwhat year is your GSA pre 2013?
That's the Set I have, now spectacularly referred to as a "Technician Set"You can make bobbins to suit different bikes, I’ve used my Skylift on a number of bikes that it doesn’t have bobbins specifically dedicated to and when I bought mine about 5-6 years ago they sold a so called workshop set where you got a tray full of adaptors. I either use the swinging arm pivot or engine mounting bolts towards the back and have previously lifted a bike by mounting deep sockets on the heads of bolts but you need to make sure the Skylift is tightened up really well if you’re going down that route.

If the Skylift shares the same Fitting System as the Bike Stand then there are Fittings within their Range which will work.
I have the Bike Stand and Technicians' Kit which contains numerous different Fittings.
In the Instructions it states that it may be a case of "Best Fit" where specific Fittings aren't available.
I haven't yet had cause to use it on my GSA, but I've just been and had a look to see if there are any in the Kit which would be suitable and there is certainly one for the Near Side.
I'll have a proper look tomorrow and let you know which Codes best suit the Bike if that helps at all?

They use the same mounts and the same principle but you need to strap the bike to stop it pivoting if you want it up at maximum height. Just remember that if it’s very close to the balance point simply dropping a wheel can make your heart rate increase in an instant![]()
Now THERE'S a thought......I’m lucky in that I’ve got a small lathe so I can make adaptors to suit whatever I want without worrying about buying things that may or may not work
There's no substitute for having the right Tools for the JobHere we go with a bit of home made bodging

and still got the Black Friday deal.Great replies guys thank you for the responces still keen on the Abba skylift.
I was looking at the bike this afty in relation to the Easyrizer I'm sure the BMW cylinder heads will be a problem for that type of lift.
I will call ABBA tomorrow.

How about an Easy Rizer Big Blue - mine is for sale in the fro sale section...![]()
No worries, that's how things go. I have noticed the Big Blue's don't seem to come up for sale very often.Hi Stroller, I did notice it for sale yesterday and thought how ironic.
I ordered the Abba lift last week half of it turned up on Friday should get the rest on Monday.
