Aberdeen, Picos, Millau, Gorge du Tarn and home......

Have you had a bit of a swirlling session with the bridge pic , or have i had toooooooo much red?? :0

We had booked 2 nights in a farm house run by a couple from Bakewell in Derbyshire. They mainly do walking tours but made us feel at home immediately, funnily enough they later told us they wouldn't accept trail bikers:nenau.

Thats cos' they be re-located Rambliars i'll bet :augie

Sounds like a nice trip and some good photos.

Like the vid of the discs, mine have also been doing that for ages. Replacement spacers fixed it last time but after loads of miles it eventually just comes back

Bit embarassing going over speed bumps as they rattle but doesn't seem to affect brake performance strangely enough!

Andy,
Great report.

I rode to the Millau Bridge in June, and like you checked out the Tarn Gorge. I camped for a couple of days in a place called La Malene. (see attached photos) I would recommend spending a couple of days touring the area, visiting the Tarn Gorge and the gorge immediately to the south (sorry forgot its name).

Good advice. There are three gorges in fact, the one you are thinking of is the Jonte, south of that again is the Dourbie. Lots of trails, tracks or roads to play on all over the Cevennes :thumb

excellent ride report Andy, sat here remembering my trip in july, same area, great roads, we stayed at Cabrales, the road in is definately a stunner:thumb

thanks for bringing it all back.
