I removed my wheels to have new tyres fitted then, when I refit the wheels I had to pump the front brake lever to get the discs engaged then, when I set off for a spin to scrub the tyres off an ABS failure warning flashed up on the screen. It said it was OK to ride but I should take it to a workshop. Not long after that it said traction control has also failed. Does anyone know if this can be fixed at home or will I need to take it the dealer. The bike is a 2018 GSA WITH less than 8k on the clock.

Recheck fitment of wheels esp front, YOU have done something wrong/ damaged a sensor or abs ring

Removed wheel and found a small deviation in the ABS sensor ring. Probably caused by the tyre fitter which wasn’t a main dealer as they weren’t taking tyre fitting bookings until the end of the month. I removed the ring and using a small hammer very delicately I managed to remove the bend. Once refitted all was well. A good bit of Bush spannering saved a costly trip to the main stealer.

All good, but stealer? really
