So, I read that the only option for the 1200GS is Integral ABS (Partial, Switchable). (other models have the option of ABS, ABS switchable, Integral ABS, Integral ABS partial & Integral ABS sports switchable).
Am I correct in saying that 'switchable' means you get the option to turn it all off?
Is there no option like the H*nda linked brake system that operates the front when the rear is applied?
I'm just eager to know what's out there!
When you apply the front brake you get a little bit of rear brake too. When you apply the rear you get rear only. Not sure which type it is listed as but also have the option to switch the lot off.
Even when the ABS is switched off the brakes are still linked, not sure about the integral and partial but as far as I know the rear brake lever only operates the rear brake and the front operates both, mines an '06 with integral ABS.

Are we possibly being a little imprecise here? I'm not having a go at anyone but panzerphil's question had a heading which is about ABS but also referred to the partially linked brakes. The ABS where fitted can be deactivated. The partially linked brakes stay partially linked whether the ABS is active or not.
