Need some more guidance from those in the know.
I'm trying to do an ABS reset. I have found an article in the ADVrider Hall of Fame. It states you should short out pins 2 + 4 (Brown/Blue and Brown wires) then switch on ignition leave for a minute, switch off ignition, remove shorting link and hey presto - Roberts your fathers brother.
Only problem is when I looked in my diagnostic plug on top of the air box, I have a Brown/Black wire in Pin 1 and a brown wire in Pin 4.
Can anyone confirm this and enlighten me as to the correct pins and procedure.
The other issue is that with the ignition on and no forward movement of the bike the lights go straight into fast flashing and clicking of the top light and solid flashing
of the bottom light. When I pull the front brake lever there is nothing, when I press the back lever the servo starts up and doesn't stop when I release the lever. With the servo whining away, by pulling the front lever there is a change in tone.
The bike has not moved in over 18 months and prior to that was involved in a head on crash.
Any advice and top tips would be received with open arms
