ABS lights falshing, confirmation of plan required

More advice please?

Hi all, sorry to be a pain but I got an update.

Took my bike to BMW to check battery and the battery is good. Plenty of Volts, fully charged and Alternator pumping ouit 13.9 volts...

They now think that it is a fault with the ABS system and want to put it on a diagnostic machine called a GT1, (stoopid name). However the GT1 was out of action and I have to take it back.

But there are still questions that they cannot answer, for instance.

It starts perfectly, but when I put it into Neutral, at lights or when preparing to switch off, the battery light appears (albeit dimly) and the Neutral light also dims. This is not due to low revs as it stays on when revved...hmmmm.

One of the mechanics was blabbering on about a potentially fused ABS relay switch but "the GT1 will tell us the reason"..mainly because when the ignition is switched on the lights flash alternatively (not together) at 1 per second.

I have read about a ABS reset and could do this, but should I wait for BMW to do it? They also wanted me to come back for a few recalls that I have missed. (I'll let you know about these for reference).

So if there is any other reason, especially about the lights coming on at neutral and the alternative flashing ABS lights from ignition on, then please let me know!

Yours, desparate and looking at a big bill....

UPDATE AND RESOLUTION

BMW reset the ABS (in the normal way) but it wasn't because of my battery, it was because I had dropped it recently and this caused the ABS to fault. The diagnostic machine came to this conclusion.

I was surprised because it's a stupid idea.

Oh well sorted now and only cost me 11GBP as they did a couple of recalls on it too. I'll post that as another post incase people have missed them.

Thanks for all your help guys!
