ABS on 97 R1100GS

Does the ABS system on the R1100GS do the same as the modern ABS i.e. does it operate front and back brakes at the same time or does it require individual brake input?

IIRC the "integral" function came along with the servos, so on a 1100 GS the front brake shouldn't operate the rear, and vice versa.

Cheers for that. The 1200 GSA goes on Sunday and I hope to acquire a pristine condition R1100GS instead.
