ABS on the cheap!?

Hi all,

Around 5 weeks ago I ordered a none-ABS 1200gs, but the dealer rang today and said they've made a mistake.... ABS was ordered with the bike, to cut a long story short hes offered me the ABS at half price- around £397ish..... he already thrown in heated grips! Is it worth paying this for the ABS? He's also offered any accessory at list price......

I'm not sure what to do......

Buy it, buy it, buy it.

Firstly, you are getting a bargain, secondly the ABS is worth it and finally there is a wait for new bikes so you may end up without one for a while if you reject this one.

hi there franky did you p/x the sp1 against the GS1200? what kind of deal did you get as i am trying to p/x my sp2 against a GS1200 and getting nightmare trade in prices tried selling private but no joy.

I did, I was offered £4300 + heated grips.... However I since sold the bike on ebay, I rang and checked that paying £4300 in cash would be ok and it was. What year is your SP2? How much you after etc and i'll ask around. Only 2 weeks till the GS arrives!
