ABS problem

I have a 2000 1150 GS non servo, 75000mls and new battery. It has developed a fault with the ABS where the system fails and the warning lights flash . I can reset the fault by shorting the brn/blu wire to earth for 8 seconds. As I move off the system sets itself as normal but immediatley goes into fault mode.This started happening intermitantly some time ago and has gradually got worse to the point where it will not set at all.
I have checked the ABS rings and sensors also the fluid levels, all seem ok.
Any advice please

One suggestion...

Try checking all the bolts around the front spindle. Pinch bolts can work loose & allow just enough flex to cause problems for the front sensor...

Thanks for that. Checked as you said, I also checked clearance of both front and rear sensors, they are ok but problem is still there.
