I'm hope someone here can help with this. :bow I have already searched but without a good answer. I have an 1150GS on an 03 plate that I need to reset the ABS on. It has the servo too.
However, I don't have the Brown/Blue wire that all the threads mention. It doesn't have a wire at pin 2 either. I have checked at the round diagnostic plug clipped to the top of the airfilter box and have the following connections,
1 - Brown/Black
2 -
3 -
4 - Brown
5 -
6 - Red/Yellow
7 -
8 -
9 - Blue
10 - Yellow/Black

I don't want to risk nakering something up by shorting the wrong wire to earth, so need some advice.

Cheers.

Not so simple on a servo - why do you think it needs to be reset - what warning lights do you have illuminated ?

The system seems to work fine, but when checking itself at start up, the top light flashes fast for four times I think, then at the normal rate. Both go out after setting off. I don't remember the lights doing that before but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time:augie Don't know what the four flashes means either.

Hope that may shed a bit more light on it.

Don't worry about it - Go find something else to concern yourself about. Or read the handbook.

Erm, at the risk of getting myself into trouble :augie that sounds about right / normal ... trouble is, my servo went kaput :blast and I put in regular front and rear braided hoses, bypassing the servo and ABS so can't go down and check for you ...

If it's working fine when riding then it's fine ... you will certainly be able to tell the difference when the warning lights stay on and the servo / abs is reduced to "residual braking" ...

:blast:blast:blast Have just found the book and realised my error! Must pay more attention to what is normal. On the bright side I have nothing to fix:clap
