I'm about to replace my front ABS sensor (got a new one with the bike when i purchased it) old one was repaired and I think it might be cause of my ABS woes.
I'm looking for some info on shimming or air gap / distance when fitting new one and can't find it with a search. Can anyone help?

from a google search, i should have a tool in the bikes tool kit for it? That explains the missing tool slot! So anyone got the measurement?

Sensor gap
Front and rear 0.45-0.55 mm

Try with original shims.

I'm only getting around to this now,
Was working fine when i got it. But as i said earlier, i got a spare front sensor from seller! When it stopped working i looked at the front sensor, the tabs were broken and the wire had been soildered at some stage. So i replaced it.
When i turn the key i can here the ticking, and have lights flashing on off. but no clunk when i drive away.
I have done the reset because my battery was struggling with the cold weather, (clock was resetting too) but in that case i was not getting the ticking when the key was turned and both lights flashhed together?. Since i've charged up the battery I'm back to tick and alternate lights. Any advise on where to start would be mega!
And the reason its gotta get fixed, a buddy is selling his 1150ADV So i'm thinking of selling my 1150gs to buy his, and having no ABS never really upset me....:beerjug:

Best of luck then

Mine is still misbehaving occasionally but the low battery has certainly been a problem in the past.
