Abs/servo removal on 05 rt

Which method did you use - the absectomy which leaves the controller board in place ?

This is an FAQ and always useful to have a link to a known good method

Not sure what method it's called but I did leave the " control board " in place . You do not cut any wires just unbolt off the electric pack off the side of the abs/servo unit unclip 2 ribbon connectors then seal up to keep moisture out and place back in the space.

As for the brakes, the front is just a case of connecting the hoses together using the same split connector.
The rear you just directly connect the hose from the caliper to the top of the master cylinder. It's difficult to get a smooth angle but it's not too bad.
I have taken pictures but can't load them as usual

Seriously, I'd be interested to know what your insurance company has to say about your ABS modification. They're absolute f*ckers about even the slightest mod; threw a wobbler about my suspension change because I didn't replace like for like.

I've no idea , I know that it's ok for mot test though. I've not had a claim in over 30 years riding so I doupt it will be an issue anyway. We shall see
