Situation
Riding down the road yestreday under 30mph (honest officer as I was overtaking one of your cars!) and bike felt like the brakes had locked on and ABS lights started to flash so pulled over. Found that both bolts on the rear hugger were gone and the hugger was jammed between swing arm and rear wheel. Once removed the rear wheel rotates OK, same as the front so no issues with locked brakes.

Problem
The ABS lights still flash even after the ignition has been turned off/on several times. I cannot see any damage to the ABS sensor or wire to the rear wheel.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong with the ABS?

Check the air gap on the rear sensor, had something similar happen to me and thats what the prob was.

You might have briefly locked the rear wheel, causing an abs fault to be logged as the wheels stopped rotating within the expected measurements. Try an abs reset.

Yup - like he said, some fault codes don't clear until you do a full reset - other fault codes (like low voltage) will clear if you switch it off and on again.
