ABS switch

Hi guys i know that ABS issues are very common on forum, i have an 04 1200gs with low milage. the servo works fine and the ABS feels quite reactive on heavy braking. The question is that the switch on the cluster does not de-activate the ABS and don't seem to do anything, any ideas? or does this actually do nothing..

Broken switchgear? Also fairly common.

ordered one from ebay and i think you might be correct had a look at connections bit corrosion. rather than pull apart will try other one..
