I fitted one of these yesterday.

It’s called an Accelerator Module (i know it just looks like a piece of wire...but).
Quote:
“It is a module I developed to give the R-boxer a smoother acceleration. The motor picks up much nicer at lower revs, motor is more fun to ride. For more info you can surf my website.
Normally the motoronic module reads temperature and is one of the main parameters to determine how much fuel needs to be injected. This only during acceleration of the bike. Once at constant speed, the lambda sensor takes over. Now by cheating the temperature by 20 degrees C, there will be more fuel injected only during acceleration, with the lot of benefits as a results.”
Well? I need to go for a proper long run really, but my GSA definitely felt different.
Throttle response felt crisper and more like it was connected the rear wheel. But what was immediately noticeable, was that I could pull a higher gear from slow speed… e.g. A corner where I always use 2nd gear, I could now use 3rd gear without any complaints from the engine.
In summary…so far I’m impressed.
It’s too early to give a comparison on fuel consumption yet.
09 GSA with Remus headers, standard can and air filter.

so it’s going to enrichen the mixture a little I presume,
