Accelerator modules

yeah i dont want any less MPG, im only getting high 30's on my GSA now despite the statements of better fuel economy than the TC, dont mind too much but on my fortnightly trip to the Ardennes i used to be able to ride there non stop, but i have to do petrol stop now, however, an arse rest aint the worse thing in the world

Shit that's not good I've done 1500 miles and that's mainly commuting into Central London and motorway congestion mix and I'm averaging 49.8 mpg. I'm running super unleaded100% as well.

ps.... I'm spending a night in the Ardennes on 4th sept at 16 Rue de la Gare
La Roche-en-Ardenne, 6980, Belgium

I'm over this weekend, My girlfriend lives in Bouillon some cracking roads around the area, then me and three others of the site are going there on 5th September then heading down to the Central massif for a week

May ride a bit slower and see if i can get to 40mpg

So has anyone had any lasting experience of the accelerator module? Was just reading up on their website but user experience would be interesting to hear. I'm slightly confused as to whether the bike compensates for the extra fuel and eliminates the accelerator modules input anyway??

I'd like to counteract the straight through exhaust a bit.

I took my bike to Hilltop in the end. Best £250 you'll spend on your bike.

I had mine fitted for 4 years with a full Akra (headers and can) flappy thingy removed. Never removed it but the performance never wained either. It Gets my vote. It's only really useful to counteract the lean fuelling you get as a result of the exhaust mods - a remap is the option preferred by others and i guess for the additional £££ you will alleviate any fears that the ECU "learns" to ignore the booster plug if that is a concern.
