Accessory fuse block, ground through frame or distribution block?

I'm going to be installing an accessory fuse block and I'm wondering whether it's better to use the frame for grounding, local to wherever the electrical item is located or whether to run the ground back to a ground distribution block by the fuse block wired directly onto the battery negative.

Not sure if one is intrinsically better than the other and would appreciate some advice one way or the other.

I've always used a +ve and -ve lead on all the accessories I've ever fitted to a bike. That way there's no confusion if there's a mix as Garmin leads come with both.

In practice it matters very little.

It'll be tidier to use the frame as long as you can get a good ground. For anything that is a meaty amount of powere may be worth doing a seperate cable back.

FWIW I've always just tapped into another ground and used that as the earth.

thanks, sounds like a ground block would be the neater option and just use twin wire to the devices.
