Make sure you don't drop the bike as these handguards bend and foul the levers :(

Sorry i had a set once never again ...the plastic ones they do with out the alloy bar are better imho :D

Handguards are really only to stop your hand getting wrapped across the knuckles when riding in the woods or from flying rocks from a bike in front of you ...

not really to save levers in the event off an off ...yes the rally pro gaurds will save your levers some of the time but if you have a big off they bend then the fun starts :thumb2

The BM ones I took off don't keep the weather off that well, and give next to no protection if you dropped the bike. Hopefully I won't have to test the crashworthiness :augie but will be likely to test the weather beating capabilities on the run up north in May :)
 
I have them on my ccm dualsport,they do an ok job of keeping the weather off and stop stones and debris from hitting your hand.:Motomartin
