Acf 50 time

I spray it into a container then paint it on with a brush, it goes exactly where you want it and stops any spray wastage.

Just got a large bottle yesterday, will be busy at the weekend by the looks of it

I've never used this stuff but judging by the positive rants by all it's obviously pretty good. I was considering Waxoyl - is it better than this and if so what makes it better?

Used it on my F8 for the last two years, and there's not a spot of corrosion anywhere. Spray on, let it 'set' and ride all winter. Wash it in Spring... maybe.

When I ride in the winter month's on returning home I always rinse my bike off and give it the odd spray with wd.
Give it a thorough clean and polish around the middle of November and again at the end of April, never had any corrosion problems.

Waxoil is a different product. It's thick and ugly where acf is just a thin barrier that doesn't change the appearance. Waxoil would work but it isn't coming off easily in the spring.

Hi

I have used this for the past couple of years [courtesy of AllYearBiker] and can say it works well. This year will be a self-applied year - may well regret that as AYB are bloody excellent]

You do however in my opinion need to rinse the bike - I use a watering can or garden weed killer spray - to rid the salt and then reapply where the water does not beed. You can use very sparingly as the protection properties only require a microscopic film. Too much and you attract dirt. I use the refill spray [just found what I can find the lowest shipped price £32 at http://www.flightstore.co.uk/acf-50-anti-corrosion-1-us-quart.asp for litre and use the same rag to rub down. Your litre should last a winter when used in this way.

I will trey and find some before and after photos.
