I been using ACF50 now on my 1200 GSA for the past 2 years and its fantastic stuff. Just wash the bike down at the beginning of winter, spray ACF50 everywhere you can (except discs and tyres - cover these in clingfilm while your spraying). I practically use a whole can so its covered thick and drips onto the road. I know you don't have to put this much on but I'm not one for washing my bike a lot.
Then start the bike up and it'll smoke like a good 'un until it all burns off the hot bits. Then your ready to ride it until spring time when the first good rain washes all the salt off the road.
You must leave it on till spring by which time its caked in crap. A quick wet down, spray with muc-off and its sparkling underneath. Worked fine for me for 2 years with no rust at all.
If you do get it on your tyres be careful - its worse than riding on ice (don't ask)!! Just get some fairy liquid, rub it on neat to the part of the tyre with the ACF50 on and then wash it off with water. All sorted. Don't wipe it off as it stays on.
Best stuff invented I reckon
cheers
