Its always dirt , but i get home I give it a quick wash off and it looks like new again , yesterday I put acf-50 on. went out for a ride today never seen my bike so dirt :nenau . its just taken me almost 2hours to clean it ! instead of the normal 30mins .my yellow sponge is now in the bin because it so black .:(

LOL :rtfm

Ive used both ACF50 and F365, ACF50 is far better -I apply ACF50 in October and I dont clean my bike until the spring
Do you do anything to it ? I mean do you just wash it down or do you really do nothing to it at all ?
Peter

no nothing, just leave it dirty,in spring when clean it will be sparkly clean, provided you applied properly in all the nooks and crannys.

A couple of cans ordered from Nippy Normans (and a front mudguard extender as well).....

I been using ACF50 now on my 1200 GSA for the past 2 years and its fantastic stuff. Just wash the bike down at the beginning of winter, spray ACF50 everywhere you can (except discs and tyres - cover these in clingfilm while your spraying). I practically use a whole can so its covered thick and drips onto the road. I know you don't have to put this much on but I'm not one for washing my bike a lot.

Then start the bike up and it'll smoke like a good 'un until it all burns off the hot bits. Then your ready to ride it until spring time when the first good rain washes all the salt off the road.

You must leave it on till spring by which time its caked in crap. A quick wet down, spray with muc-off and its sparkling underneath. Worked fine for me for 2 years with no rust at all.

If you do get it on your tyres be careful - its worse than riding on ice (don't ask)!! Just get some fairy liquid, rub it on neat to the part of the tyre with the ACF50 on and then wash it off with water. All sorted. Don't wipe it off as it stays on.

Best stuff invented I reckon

cheers

As above, bike ends up really scruffy and although it's tempting to clean when you get a nice couple of days during the winter, theres no point as the bad weather don't quit till end of march really. Then, when you do clean it you'll be amazed how shiny it is under the black coating of crap:clap

Took mine to John at 'Allyearbiker' in Chesham on Sunday. Glad I did - my trousers are caked in salt deposits, so I shudder to think the amount of crap that gets on the bike.

Starting to attract a bit of black goo on places but its still looking clean for the moment.
