There was a thread on here a few weeks ago describing the difference in Euro 3 and Euro 4 end cans... for the life of me, I CANNOT find it! Can anyone point me in the right direction to find it - or, reiterate what the differences were?

Thank you.

Awaits the usual torrent of "do a search!" comments... :bounce1

Euro 3 = removable baffles
Euro 4 = wtf I can't remove the baffles?!

I know about the baffles... Well, you can remove them but you have to drill out the rivets holding on the carbon end cap to get to the grub screws I think

...but there was something about one version has the pipe going from one to two, the other is one to one?

Dunno. I have got the Euro 3 By sheer chance and the baffles have never been in. I'm not manly enough to be drilling rivets. My exhaust seems to have two pipes at the link?

Yeah... mine has one - but still has the "hidden" baffle grubs.

Ergo my question

Euro 4 = non removable baffles (with ought work) and 1 in to 1 link pipe.

Euro 3 = removable baffles and 1 in to 2 link pipe.

If buying BMW Pipe, apparently they can't supply Euro 3 any longer.

Buying pipe from elsewhere, be prepared to pay up to £130 more for a Euro 4 pipe in comparison to Euro 3. Don't ask my why or how. :nenau

Pre Euro 4 has a 'Y' piece inlet as shown below
