Active plus Autocom and mobile phone

Just fitted a second hand acive plus kit to the GSA.

Everything seems to be working as it should, except that I can't seem to get my 6300 nokia to auto answer when it gets a call....

Plugged in to the system, I hear the phone ringing, but nothing happens.

I've had a fiddle with the phone's settings and set 'auto answer' to on... still no good.

The auto answer is in 'enhancement settings' in menu. There is 'Headset' and 'Headphones' in there

'Headset' is where the option to set the 'Auto Answer' is, but if I recall when the phone is plugged in it shows 'headphones' not 'headset'

Do I need anything else to make the phone work or am I not setting it up right?

Hi Bryn,

What connections are you using for the phone link - a 4-pole (stereo, mic & earth) 3.5mm wired connector and an adaptor block?

I am wondering whether if you waggle the leads in and out their respective housings the headset rather than the headphone icon will appear. There can be a lot of "tolerance" in the way these connectors are built. The headset icon means that the microphone is active compared to the headphones icon.

The phone is connected via an 'ipod' sized jack into the autocom, and a smaller one that plugs into the middle of the phone base ... not sure of its internals
