Is it possible to add the audio kit as an aftermarket option?

If so what is needed??

Obviously the CD unit and loom / handlebar controller,

Are the speakers already in the fascia, or are these required as well? (along with respective harness')?

Is any SW reprogramming required, or does plugging in the parts trigger the display options, or is some

GS-911 or similar work needed??

Alternatively is it possible to use a 3rd party CD unit if the required harness outputs could be identified / utilised ?

Sounds like a whole lot of work when you could get a Bluetooth connection from your phone to something like a Cardo Packtalk.

https://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=52026&rnd=07012015 shows parts for a 2010-13 bike, if you got to section 77 then off to 77_0365 AUDIO SYSTEM W/O RADIO PREPARATIONS you can see what is needed. Why not approach a breakers ?

Quite possibly, but if the option is there to retro add it, ebay & breakers are your friend :)

Also Helmet speakers aren't that loud, nice to have a bit of Bass when riding ;)
