Adding top box stoplight wiring to the LC.

I have Givi V46 top box on my 2016 GS and was contemplating installing a Givi stoplight kit on the top box but does anyone know if I can simply splice the top box wiring into the bike's rear stop light wiring without causing mayhem in the bike's canbus system? Thanks.

I would not risk it ! Particularly if you have the lean sensitive ABs / Dynamic brake light module gubbins which I am assuming you will have.

I have heard of people having The BMW spot / fog lights fitted and they have caused all sorts of weird things to happen even though they had been programmed into the ECU by the dealer
