Additional riding lights

Hi all

Has anyone fitted the lights in this link? Buying cold from the internet is always a bit of an adventure and I'm keen to get an impression of the build quality ease to fit etc.?

i was riding in Scotland with a friend who has some Clearwater ericas on , they looked fantastic …so i goggled the site only to find the price of these is unbelievable !

First impressions they appear expensive, but I've just taken another look, at the euro exchange rate they are more reasonable.
They appear to come with the mounting bracket, all wiring & a neat little micro switch, plus they are led rather than halogen..
Also there appears to be a controller that isn't connected to the Canbus of the bike which seems to be giving problems. (See other thread re fog lights factory fitted)

I bought a set of Clearwater erica lights (which I agree are horribly expensive but give amazing performance) and asked my dealer to fit them with the can bus opener when the bike was delivered, and they refused citing non BMW approval making warranty invalid etc etc, Anyone else have any experiences with the Clearwater lights?

My dealer installs them, and sells them. No reason the lights should void your warranty.

Classic case of mixing the buzzwords to bamboozle the gullible.....
Projector lenses and fog lights? Fuck off

Loads of utter bullshit text, faffing around and making them sound valuable.....but a 30 quid set of Ebay lights will function as well as , if not better than these as 'fog lights', even if they don't have fancy bollock features (what do you really need other than a canbus compatible set with a switch!)

I pretty much guarantee that these will be identical to other, FAR cheaper lights sold under different badging and in different boxes......do a good search on Google Images and you'll almost certainly find them, even if the mounting brackets are mix n match
