Addresses and accurate locations

I’m trying to plan a route using the MRA route planner on an Ipad. Is there anyway that I can enter a street address. I find the information on the MRA map is very limited so I’m guessing I have to use a different map and then import the route into MRA. Setting off on Friday so any advice would be appreciated.

Enter it in the destination search box and it'll bring it up. You can plot a route by adding more and additional stops etc.

AQre you creating your own route, or using it's smart routing system?

Using the scenic route option (where it does everything for you), you can enter full address details for departure/arrival destinations.

If using your own route, you can use the search bar to find addresses and add them as waypoints.

I have to use the planner on the website rather than the App - I didn’t realise they were different.

Yup, they are different creatures.

On an iPad using the web based MyRoute Routeplanner:

The same underlying information is available in the app. You can just start typing in an address or name. But the web planner is probably easier to use on a big screen like an Ipad.





For locations without an address on the "Here" mapset used by MyRoute app you can use google maps and just copy and paste the location co-ordinates into the search bar of the web planner or the app and the location will be identified on the map and added as a waypoint if you so chose.
