hello everyone, i start with Adelaide IAM in march and I'm just looking for some hints and tips on equipment needed and just general advice. thanks for your advice in advance.

Don't think you will need any equipment, just a bike really!

A copy of motorcycle road craft and a highway code would be about it.

A "gag" for those moments when you wish to restrain yourself from expressing yourself to a pretentious twat!

By all means Go do the training and learn new stuff that suits "you" but be warned there are a few pretentious pricks in every group

What ever you learn you MUST be comfortable with it so that it becomes second nature! If it doesn;t gel with you, try runs with other observers and see how they ride suits you ( I have a couple of recommendations for instructors over here One I'd trust with my life If he said go for the pass and give it the beans I'd do it!)

There is no Right way to ride a motorcycle the main rules are staying on the motorcycle and being safe
