Anyone insured with them? Comments?

I have my Disco 1 insured with them and just changed over last month.

Seem OK and understand that Landrovers may have bits'n'bobs fitted that other insurance companies regard as non-standard and decline to cover under their insurance policies,

I want to fit non-standard bumpers to mine and this should hopefully solve the problem. Already have different shocks fitted with have been accepted by Flux with no problem,

Gave them a go after reading various postings on Landyzone (which is a pretty shit forum compared to this but does have some good info on it)

I've my multi-bike policy through them - and not had a problem.

Remember - they are only the agent. The underwriter is who you deal with, in the event of a claim.

My lad was on their "young drivers" policy last year. Least expensive while still appearing to be useful. Had no need to contact them (thankfully), but changed last renewal as insurance was going in my daughters name, and that made it much cheaper everywhere.

I've got my van/motorhome thingy with them.No complaints and they seem on the ball.

No way - I insured my Defender and every time I changed something they wanted another £50 or so - pish poor customer service
I said that my insurance was to expire in 30 days and that I was taking the Defender to Spain in order to re-register it in Spain - they refussed to insure it - duffers

My bike been insured with them for a few years now, s reg r1100gs, full comp, european cover, unlimited mileage, legal cover, protected no claims all for £131 quid not to bad a price this year, i cannot be bothered shopping around anymore, not when it is so cheap.

Must say i have never made a claim, touch wood or had to alter any details

I had to have 9 items checked/changed on my documents from their first attempt but all sortred without problems.

Their bike policies are underwritten by NIG who madame (who's in the business) says are as good as anyone.

I got a great rate, £90 cheaper than eB**e.

I used them when I was driving "special" motors, eventually found them to be dodgy and would not touch the feckers with a bargepole, only by a lot of phone calls and deviousness did I not end up out of pocket, be warned.

Had my L200 with them last year then this year they doubled the premium, phoned them back they wouldn't requote. Got a price locally alot cheaper than them. So then i phoned them back again and the message i got was

" do you mind if we re-quote you" i said carry on they came back to me a with a premuim of £1 cheaper than i got it locally.

the guy then said " HUh were not going to get much commision on this one ".

To which i replied " You aren't going to get any commision at all seeing you tried to rip me off, i'm going with my local firm" please send proof of no claims to me.

This thread just reminded me i had to send proof of no-claims to new bike insurer as i changed from Aquote this year to Bikesure. Just phoned Bikesure helpline and got through to ADRIAN "BLOODY" FLUX. Amazing what you learn!!!!!

I had my Ginetta with Adrian Flux. They like the specialist stuff such as kit cars.

I had the 4x4 (heavily modified) with NFU simply because I'd passed through some specialists before and had to fill in large forms for all the changes. It was too much hassle to hunt around for a few quid saving.

been with them for years no probs.both bikes and me car.
