Adv 350

5'11" and 14 stone :( but slowly losing a few pounds.
14 stone !!!!!!!! Lightweight 😄😄😄.
I was 120 kilos until 3 weeks ago, which I think is about 18 1/2 stone.
The ADV handles that fine, and I’ve had a pillion on as well. No problem, just slows the acceleration a bit. BUT, with a pillion on as well the suspension is better.
as far your height , it shouldn’t be a problem either, just make sure your knees are ok, not touching the fairing etc.
I’ve had mine up to the west coast of Scotland and back in a weekend …650 miles.
in some ways it’s easier to ride on a long ride compared to a ‘normal’ bike. Just not quite as fast when you want to rip it up.
mine cruises at 80 all day long, but I tend to use smaller roads and ride a bit slower so I can enjoy the scenery more.
I’m hoping to take mine on a tour for a week or two soon, if I get chance I’ll be going to France on it.

In 9 days time I'll be heading down from Aberdeen to Ceuta via the ferry between Plymouth and Santander.

If Honda did and ADV350+ that had 5 more HP, cruise control and a less pronounced bump between the seats, for an extra grand, then I'd snap their fingers off, as, it is, its a fine bike.

Well not sure about the heated grips as I've not had Honda ones but I generally read everywhere that the Oxford are better, no one has said the Honda ones are.

I brought a cheap one last night , stolen recovered . it may turn out to be a stupid thing but fingers crossed all will be fine and dandy. just awaiting a delivery date. looks to of had the seat forced open and probably other stuff hoping some duct tape and a bungee will have me on the road soon enough

so I went and got my 350 this morning and its close to as good as I could of expected. a couple of minor jobs to do but overall its still a decent bike with close to 8000 miles. needs a wash and a bit of love poor thing. oh and a welded brake lever which is a first for me  :)

I've officially left the ADV clan after only a few months. Just didn't love it in the way I did my previous Forza's. It was a nice enough bike, but for me the Forza is better. All year round commuting no matter what the weather means the electric screen is indispensable. Also, just couldn't get my head around the looks, as others have said, just a bit too 'try hard'. Arsey says the Forza is too gay, but the ADV is for those in denial!

Just been down to Africa, from Aberdeen on mine. It did feel a little lonely at Plymouth and Santander amongst the masses of litre plus bikes with the essential aftermarket catalogues thrown at them.
Do not worry, you probably scored more cool points from those in the know.

Your bike will go way further on a litre of fuel, it's probably more manageable on really rough ground, if you had to you could lift it onto the back of a pick-up, or up hotel steps, you're not stressing that some super complicated electrical systems going to pack in and when you leave the hotel in the morning you're not scratching your head wondering which of the identikit adventure bikes is actually yours.

Popped into Bill Smith Chester to try and see and sit on one in the flesh. They had one in” the back” that you could look at but not sit on. For orders taken now delivery is end of the year or Jan. Such is the popularity of this scoot😀

I really wanted a ADV350, but sadly with my disabilities I just couldn't get my leg high enough to get on one. 😥
The forza was the same 😥

So I bought a ex demo ( 172 miles only ) SH 350i, same running gear and power out put ax sn ADV.
I'll try again as & when I get a new left hip..

Get yourself onto the Honda forza 350 and adv 350 UK facebook page, they come up for sale on there quite often

Some useful accessory items from Hepco & Becker for the ADV350

Their luggage system has been overshadowed by the Givi recommendations on the forum, I suspect.

Here's their promo video on their site:

Be careful, if you fit those type of guards it may clash with any aftermarket screen you fit.

How would a 5’6” shortie manage. I have owned 1150 and 1200 gs but have been bikeless for about 6 years.
I don't think you'd have any issues as they obviously sit much lower than standard motorbikes. If you do buy it prepare to be amazed at how capable they are and how much you enjoy it.
