Maybe i'm missing a trick, but I've got an 1150 Adv with the adventure tank which I believe is supposed to be 33L. But I can't ever remember putting more than 28/29L in to fill. And on several occasions I have been filling up when the fuel gauge is blank and the warning light has been on for some time, a good 25/30miles on at least one occasion. Where are my other 5L gone?

1150 Adventure tanks are 30 litre unless you've drilled a hole in the filler neck, in which case you just about squeeze in 32 litres.

If you're able to put 28+ litres in & you've not already run out of fuel, then all is well. :thumb

That's your "special reserve".Just because the RID is saying empty,it doesn't mean the tank is.
Your fuel level indicator is probably out of adjustment.
Just dont worry about it.

There's always a simple answer:beerjug:

I wasn't worried about it, just curious. I don't think my sensor is that far out TBH. The gauge only stops showing any bars for the last couple of miles, so it must be fairly accurate.

Mind you. I was starting to doubt it, with 33 in my head it may have been a bit too close one day:o
