Adventure Fuel Tank onto 1200GS

I'm investigating fitting the 33 litre 1200GS Adventure fuel tank to a 1200 GS. Has anyone else done this? If so, are there any nasty things I need to know about before I do it?

How much of the fuel system is common to both the 1200GS and the Adventure? Obviously I'll need the tank itself, and the side fairing panels, but what about the pump, fuel level metering etc etc?
