Adventure Handelbar Brace

Hi Folks

Is it really needed, or is it just for show ? as I'd like to remove it on my 1200 Adventure.

I won't be using the bike offroad

If it's taking knocks off road it's needed.
If it only gets road use....


Look at it this way. 08> models don't have it as standard....

I just purchased an 09 GSA and i want a brace for mine, was just looking at the wunderlich ones but if you want to do a deal im your man.

Is the 06 and 08 handler tube the same dimensions eg. tube diamter and wall thickness?? and is the profile the same eg. handlebar rise and rake ??

No idea on tube diameter and thickness but no bar with the brace has a higher rise.
