Are they just a fashion statement or a worthwhile buy, if so why and any recommendations welcome.
Have you never heard of some black tape across the top of your visor....then again, I'm old school.....When the Sun is low during the late/early part of the year, the peak is very useful at shading your eyes. It's the only reason i bought one! It made riding during that time of year a lot easier, not being blinded by the Sun continuously.
Now the Sun is rising again i'm back to wearing my normal Helmet.
Nope! Always had Helmets with drop down sun visors, or light changing inserts.Have you never heard of some black tape across the top of your visor....then again, I'm old school.....

SecondedDon't seem to make a lot of sense...noisier with the peak etc. Peak may be handy for low sun but so is a drop down visor. Personally, I'd rather have a flip up lid.
thirded...Seconded
I like red tape in the winter, and blue tape in the summer...Have you never heard of some black tape across the top of your visor....then again, I'm old school.....
