Adventure rear shock failure

My Adventure has only done 3000 miles in four months and the rear shock has failed.
My dealer has advised me not to ride the bike until a replacement has been fitted. So far thats been ten days and still no shock.
Funny as I could buy an Ohlins off the shelf from Harris.
Has anybody else had a shock fail?

I have actuallyu several times times, just not in this area of the board. You have to drink less coffee mate!

Mine's been making graunching sounds for three months now, being replaced under warranty tomorrow! 02, 20K miles.
