Adventure tank on standard GS

Has anyone put an adventure tank on the normal 1200gs? I met a bloke in a pub on Saturday who said it was an easy mod, but he was drunk and couldn't remember where he'd seen it.:beer:
 
Not an easy mod....

But can be done apparently. You oughtn't to trust drunk men in pubs.....
