Advice k1100 rs

On my rs the rear rack tilts back as does the top box I have seen other rs's with
A rack that is raised at the back any ideas where I could get one. Thanks

The only rack option is an aftermarket product. Givi used to do a higher level rear rack for the K series to mount one of their topboxes onto.. I don't expect they've sold one for 15 years or more.

The trouble with the givi rack is it fits to the fibreglass rear cowling. I had one and after a while the fiberglass around the holes was cracking. My mate on his RS sheared the front two mounting bolts.

A lot of people are probably unaware that you can fit the LT top rack assembly to the RS. There are plastic blanks to cover the holes where the rear grab handles are fitted, as these have to be removed. The rack fits to the same 4 top mounting points that the side pannier rails fit to. Longer screws etc. The advantage is the rack you can take more weight.

If you are interested I have one removed from my K1100rs 10 years ago and it's still in mint condition.

A picture paints a thousand words, Here is My K1100RS with the LT rack fitted and the givi mounting plate. Used it for a few years and it worked well.
