Does anyone know what a garmin gps 3 is worth i have been offered one in good condition for £140 pounds i need to know if its a good deal or not

Colleagues at GPS Warehouse tell me ....

The SPIII when first introduced had a 32Mb datacard plus one unlock code for the software, so you paid out more for full unlock to get additional countries.

Later, it became SPIII deluxe with a 128MB datacard and full unlock access to European maps with 'City Navigator' V5.

I suggest you also check as to which version of 'City Navigator' software it has also.

If you look on Ebay, three have been sold in December for: £102 and £155, with another GPS III Plus for £180.

I'd take the £140 based upon that.

Look in "For sale" section. There is Garmin V for 180 quids. Much more sofisticated than the III....
