Noisy helmets

Schuberth S1 is the quietest of all the lids I've tried, bar none.
It doesn't suit everyone but once you get used to it, fantastic!!!

The System 4 wasn't too clever! and a number of the flip fronts seem to be a bit of a risk.

Makes you wonder why Ride tested a helmet that is no longer in production and has been replaced by a newer version.

As for the test results, if you look purely at the impact, spike and strap test results, the System 4 scored 28/40, which is better than the Shoei Z-One, Roof Diversion and the Shark RSX, all of which scored higher marks overall as a result of the road testing. The system 4 only scored 3 points less than the Schuberth Concept and the X Lite 902 (both scored 31/40) and 2 less than the Dainese Casco Airstream (30/40) on these tests.

I would say the marks for "roadtesting" are more subjective and more open to variations than the actual safety tests that were carried out.
