Hello
Please can I call on the wisdom of the community for some expert advice on the value of my R100GS which I want to put up for sale. As you see it's not your typical standard model.
1994 R100GS
Owned by me for 10 years. Very little use in recent years but it has been to Morocco and the Stella Alpina.
With a new front tyre I'd happily do a similar trip again tomorrow.
Currently in Ireland, on Irish plates. Originally a UK bike so can be re-imported free of charge AFAIK
Always carefully serviced. I've replaced starter motor, bean can and rotor .
Running well, no smoke or oil leaks.
Recent service and annual oil\filter change, new battery.
Paintwork has a few marks.
Lots of paperwork. MOTs, invoices, original handbook and service book
Prepared by previous owner for overland trip that never took place. Receipts from Cray Engineering
Four pot caliper and braided hose
Low front mudguard also available
Suspension: Rear Ohlins and front progressive springs.
Heated grips,
Speedo working
Large Plastic tank (HPN or Acerbis, I've forgotten which) , re-located oil cooler (plus spare bypass hose)
Bespoke bull bars (OEM bull bars available)
Modded side-stand - which is a gem!
Muskat y-piece from NZ
Touratech: seat, handguards, bash plates, pannier racks
LED rear light.
Loads of spares: Rotor, diode board, ignition module, HES, service kits, gaskets, wheel bearings, alternator brushes, heavier Ohlins spring
I know testing the market is the only way to determine the value but where to pitch the price?
Advice welcome - based on Euro or Sterling. Thanks.
