Hi all went out for a ride today fully loaded panniers topbox and pillion as a little practice run before i go away, changed ESA to two up +luggage noticed a whirring noise sounded like it was coming from the front end, when i got back unloaded an went for a short ride and it appeared to have gone,I havent been aware of this before, any ideas guys, obviously i need to get it sorted before i go.cheers carl

May just be the tyres and the effect of the extra load on the profile. Assume you have Tourances or some other road/trail types with blocky tread? Have you adjusted the pressure for the extra load? Might be worth a look.

The ESA makes a little whirring noise as it jacks the suspenders up - is that what you heard? (Only does it when changing pre-load, not damping)
