I'm sure this has been covered before but I just did a search and found nothing, anyway, I've just fitted a Y-piece and Remus genesis race can and wondered if I need to do anything with the
the coding plugs, i.e. removing, replacing, resetting etc....
or does it detect the change and sort itself out automatically?

sorts itself out automatically
You may get a slight air leak between the muffler and y peice
but this will carbon up soon.
I've found mine runs slightly richer but dealer said not to worry.
BTW seat on bike now

Air leak only adds to the effect
On the overun expect lots of poping and cracking
I am told flames are even possible?
If it bothers you too much use tin foil or exhaust paste during assembly
