Okay; here we go:)

Current tyres on my 09 GSA are Bridgestone Battlewings but want to replace with TKC 80's for which i have three sat in the garage.

Battlewing sizes:
F - 110/80/R19
R - 150/70/R17

TKC sizes:
F - 110/80/B19 (Unused)
R - 140/80/B17 (Unused)
R - 150/70/B17 (Used - about 6cm in middle)

Checked the tyre section and Continental web site and obviously the 110 & 150 would fit but what about the 140 and if not for this bike what would it fit - comments (including piss taking ones) happly accepted:augie

The 140 will fit as well... I used a 140 Heidenau successfully on my 2008 1200 before they started to make a 150.

I've had tkc 80's and karroo 2's,trust me you will not notice the size they'll just be really bad,esp in the wet, went to k60's and will not be going back, best wet weather tyre i've had,dry is very good and after 3.5k miles i'm at 6.5mm in the center

Weird how some people just can't get on with them.
I use them all the time. :thumb2

.....I must say....

....I never really liked the Gsa in red when it came out...

...but recently I've been seeing them, and they're looking striking to me now! :thumb2

Nice bike :thumb2

I loved it when i saw and had to have red; however i do like white:)

Yes; i had them on an 1100 and loved them to bits - they were well worn in. Got a couple of hundred miles on these and also nicely wearing in:thumb2

The 140/80/17 is recommended for and will fit the XRV750 aka Africa Twin. I have used them on my AT.
