I feel like a nob asking this considering I've owned my Navigator 2 for 18 months  , but how do you find somewhere using only a post code?
I press find, then press the country which gives me the enter post code option, then when I enter the post code the find part of the screen is not illuminated as it wants more info like the street etc.
Sometimes it may say the dreaded none found then after delving further usually manually on the map it's been their after all.
In the UK it's not too much of an issue but abroad its a pain as Im not always sure the street name from the address in the pamphlet I may be using etc.

First, postal code search is only relevant in a very few countries. In the UK for example but not the Nordic.

Second, postal code search is only available with the NT map and therefore only in the GPS devices compatible with the the NT map. The Nav 2 is not one of them. :nenau

Thanks HMR so that means the post code is a bit of a waste of time without the rest of the address. It would be great to have a user course at a BMW dealership or someting similar in the North East of England.

IIRC, the Navigator 2 will support 5 digit postcode search, allowing you to narrow down the rest of your search.

So you can enter CB4 3 or PE27 5 to help you narrow down what you're looking for.

if it's the same as a 2610 you can only do that after you've put in the full address. daft

.

Spent ages last night looking for HMP Castington in Morpeth Northumberland, despite having the post code and the place being their for years I still had to use the map to find it. I knew a neighbouring street which would not show up, then low and behold when I found the nick on the map there was the blinking street that was not comming up in the address search.

P.s the wife works around prisons just in case you were wondering ;)
