I'm happy to accept that people who've spent good money on a mod want to justify their spend with a 'seat of the pants' review - including mine. As as someone who has had a Hilltop remap, i am also doubtful of the dyno readouts - but as the bike 'feels' much quicker and is a better ride I feel uncomfortable questioning the results as I am happy overall.

However, you are asking us to question others results on the basis of what you have presented as being fact, which cannot be verified from here.

If you hadn't come across as some one on a mission to discredit all others (in various threads) in favour of your work - which I cannot verify, I'd be happier.

I would love to have my bike remapped and publish all the data that I record after the remap.
Unfortunately I cant see it happening as long while ago I asked Geoff a few technical questions , Just trying to increase my knowledge and he spat his dummy out at me.

Yes your not the only one. Lawers have been threatened in the past!

Shortly after purchasing my R1150RT I came across an IAT shift device that I purchased. It had a compelling technical description of how it worked (which I don't need to repeat). Unfortunately for me I realized after spending $150 that the performance of my bike didn't change.

That led me to the lambda-shift idea which I implemented with an Innovate Motorsports LC-1. The LC-1 not only allowed implementation of the lambda shift but by welding in a second bung allowed me to measure lots of alternative solutions. Everything I measured I reported (here for example: http://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?56990-2004-R1150RT-Wideband-O2-Sensors) and allowed others to critique, sometimes harshly. If you wanted you could make the same measurements and confirm the results.

It's true, I've pointed out weaknesses in a lot of other approaches. One product that I did confirm though was the PC III USB with Wideband O2 and have helped a couple guys install them. IMO, it is a much better product than the PC V because the III with Wideband O2 does not require disabling Closed Loop operation.

As far as many other products I've measured, they don't do what is claimed.

With regard to chip reprogramming, all I'm asking is, what gets changed?
