Africa Twin farkles list

Fixed the parking break sensor, but know my parking brake lever goes all the way to the barkbuster with no clearance behind for your fingers, not a big deal but are they all like that for everyone with the dtc parking brake?

Just fitted mine in the dark tonight. It goes pretty close to the edge. Might even just be touching. Hard to get fingers behind if using it like a clutch. But can get to it closer to the cable side. Not botheted as dont really use it. So glad i can now position guards for wind without compromising brake lever angle

the provided spacer thing, should make the lever sit shy of the hand guard. Mine doesn't touch, theres a bit of a gap.

just looked at them again in daylight and i think I have managed to mount the second attachment arm over the bars as opposed to under the bars. Last night it seemed awkward with the handlebar and trying to get the arm underneath the parking lever etc. So I went over the bar...seems that images I have seen today suggest the clamp arm must loop under the the cables and then attach to bar. Is that right? Anyone got an image taken from the cockpit side looking out?
cheers

Here's some pictures of my setup with Barkbusters.

Fitted them myself and I remember them being awkward, but all works correctly and as it should. :thumb2

See if these pics help?

Some more pics from underneath, with the lever and brake applied. Apologies for the mud and dirt.

Some more of the parking brake lever. Mine is close but not touching, as it's supposed to be.

The mounting brackets are black as I painted them.

Cheers Warlord. Re Fitted mine and again they were awkward. Until I noticed that there is actually a left and right arm. Soon as I swapped these arms over, jobs was a doddle! Wish I'd known! Anyhow, brake now clears the cover easily and looks much more natural, obviously.. With the brake placed in the biggest free space area, the mirror hits the new screen. So I have had to try and compromise and swing the mirror closer to me. I'll see how I get on with it not being symmetrical to the right hand side and if I can live with it. Otherwise will need to look at the other angles of the brake and handguard and maybe just let the brake look awkward and touch slightly. But happy in the end. Now only got Apollo Koso heated grips to install and the pannier frames.

Bet this sounds naughty, and its only £485

Givi crashbar bags

I wanted some bags that fit the OE crashbars and they are as rare as hens teeth, touretech do some but expensive and although they say they fit the shape doesn't seem right to me, anyway i got these ones, similar to Warlords Kriega OS-6 bags but cheaper :D.

Ive not fitted them properly as im getting the bars powder coated soon but here they are:
