The dealers found out the prices today but can't announce them until the weekend. I think it's going to be high though. Apparently out of the 300 bikes coming in 260 have deposits on them

Ciomments 619 and 620. I don't give a fuck about adventure style and looks at my age its riding position and usability. 95bhp is good 120plus is better. I hate chains because I don't like adjusting them, but I would put up with them. I am not a big off roader but I do travel extensively and often find myself on poor roads or tracks. I do get the odd puncture and just stick a plug in. Hence, hate messing about with tyre removal. A few years ago I had a puncture in a tubed tyre and as a result had a serious accident. Had several tubeless tyres punctured with no drama whatsoever. All things considered I really dislike inner tubes. Everything else mentioned is not a real problem it is just my idea of negatives are stacking up.

My current winter hack is a Transalp with circa 70bhp and a chain. I love it but would not fancy riding it two up fully loaded for the distances I tend to cover in Eastern Europe.

I respect 'others opinions' but it's my money and my choice. Just feel a bit let down with the Africa Twin in certain respects.

No potential buyers have ridden them yet. I have had many bikes, especially Hondas they have not disappointed so far, it's just the other points I have mentioned. Bored with this now I'm researching the alternatives.
