Isn't there some EU directive that all new bikes must come with ABS now?

I was wanting the basic version....no ABS, traction control etc. Honda UK since this morning have now deleted this option from their website. So there's the best value model in the range now denied to the UK buying public. I know many may prefer to have those rider aids, but i wasn't. Feking nanny decision makers.![]()
I'd agree with that!hope they get the finish sorted on these. Hondas of late haven't been good.
Had a hrc 700 alp. Gold wheels were bad. Coating was coming off after a few months
There is always sabotage......a pair of wire cutters should do it.And the ABS can't be fully turned off - rear wheel only.
So not fully suitable for nadgery UK trails then.

Will rip-off Britian rear its ugly head again ?
According to the French Honda site, the ABS manual bike is priced at €12,999 + €300 for the tricolour paint.
That's approx £9,382 to you Sir (but their taxes might be quite different to ours)

That price would do ok !!!! But sounds too cheap

Yep, it would be good, plus £135 OTR charges and you'd have one out the door at £9517.
I wonder how Honda UK will explain away maybe nearly an extra grand when it ends up at £10,500 ?
I hope I'm proved wrong.![]()
