Those H&B panniers were appalling. I don't think they would even last a trip to Tesco let alone a decent trip and they would have been better off having none at all. I talked to a sales guy about it and he was mildly embarrassed!!

I was helping out on the Stahlkoffer stand and he took three advanced orders for the AT. Proper tough kit and will be a whole lot cheaper than the factory stuff I bet.

+1 for Stahlkoffer kit, really well made, rugged and robust and at a great price. Bernie (owner) is a good bloke as well.

Not everyone lives in a tax haven.

Even VAT-free I won't be buying many accessories! Just high seat and possibly main stand . God knows how Honda can charge over £300 for heated grips that aren't even factory fitted and double the price for a high seat over a low !!!

DCT does look fun though.

Yes, the high seat just replaces the riders front seat. Honda are apparently considering offering a one piece, but no doubt the aftermarket will have offerings available much sooner.

Just read the article in More Crap than News and whilst they give it a very good write up they are not exactly singing the praises of the engine saying that it lacks low and mid range punch.

Would definitely want a test ride before ordering one

The high seat doesn't appear to be a factory option, it's a cost option....ie, you have to buy the high seat and fit in place of your standard seat (the front part/riders seat). The one piece seat pictured is being considered by Honda as a further option, but unavailable at present.
