Africa Twin is HERE !!!

Yep , got his troiuser leg hooked up on the peg and lost control when he went to put his foot down.......

Something similar happened to me many moons ago. I'd bought a pair of over-boots from HG in York. I had them on and came up to a red light in Portsmouth, went to put my foot down and it was captured on the peg. I toppled off just as I ripped the elastic from the boot but was too far over to stop myself falling over. A man walking past looked down at me sprawled on the ground under my TDM and said, 'Stupid twat !', before walking on leaving me on the deck. Rather embarrassing to say the least. :blast

Was in a Honda dealer in Lancashire the other day and he said that there was now quite a long wait for the DCT version in Tricolor. That being the most popular colour by far and the manual to DCT sales have been around 60/40 when Honda Uk had anticipated it would be around 70/30 max.

I know of 2 dealers that have unfortunately had to give deposits back as they just can't get the DCT Tricolor bikes from anywhere in the dealer network :(

I still like the black :thumb

Chatting to my DP today.....says order an AT today and delivery is now August.

He is Polish as I am, so he actually says he got his over boots hooked up on the peg and couldn't put the left foot on the ground.

I ride with a pair of summer boots sometimes, and make sure I always tuck the laces in properly!:D

Arrow titanium with etched can and removable baffle. Only a 2bhp increase.

Yes, I'm having a terrible time with mine. The heated grips are warm, but not hot, the sticky SET button doesn't stick anymore, the spokes haven't tarnished and now the first service is out of the way, it seems to go quite fast along the road. Not 1190 fast, but fast enough to loft the front wheel and lose my license. What am I to do ?

Oh....I forgot to add that my manual gearbox selects gears like a hot knife through butter. Surely there's something not right there ?

Crikey first service done already, what is that 6000/7500 miles

Id imagine it's 500-1000 miles like most bikes or are you taking the rip?

Davy, FWIW, the curves on the Termi around the foot peg are all wrong, the Arrow also brings the silencer up higher which looks better to me? Sod the cost and go with the ti. :D

He's taking the piss as usual chum. :thumb

The Arrow IMO does look better, not concerned about cost. Rugged Roads reckons it needs dyno'd to get the best out of the Arrow.

Can I ask what is wrong with the oe system?
You spend 11k on a brand new bike, harp on about how 'brilliant' they are then feel the need to spend getting on to 1ķ on a full exhaust.

Sorry, I don't get it.

Vanity or just more money than sense?

FWIW the Arrow on my CT sounds great without being loud...... Not sure how much of that is the V4 though. It certainly sound fab when giving it a handful with lovely crackles on the overrun too.

My mistake, with all this talk of how great/reliable/corrosion free my AT is I'd assumed it had come from those with some miles under their belt :D

BTW I like the lines of the Termi and if I had an AT I would be putting vanity over sanity and fitting one

So are you saying you've never ever changed an exhaust on any bike you've ever owned ?

Weird.....too sensible and not enough money.....:D

I have but to be fair, I prefer a sympathetically modified oe system ;)
